Steve West
Steve grew up in Hope Mills, North Carolina and has a wealth of residential and commercial construction experience. He started his career in the trades wiring new residential homes in 1987 and later after time spent in the US Navy as mechanical repairman he decided to leave in 1992 to pursue his education.
In 1993 he attended community college while working on his apprenticeship with Bass Heating and Air Conditioning in Fayetteville, NC. Later in New Jersey he gained contracting experience with goverment contractors Del-Jen Inc. and Akima Corp. for the installation of Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation for Military Housing.
Steve is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). He inspects residential re-sales in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.
Steve and his wife Kathy formed Settlers Home Inspections in 2001.
